Knowledge and Perception of Pharmacy Practice Students on Causality Assessment of Adverse Drug Reactions

Pharmacy Practice students play an important role in identifying and reporting Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs). Prior studies focused on knowledge of pharmacy ADRs. There are no conducted to assess the understand perception causality assessment A web-based cross-sectional study was from October 2019 April 2020 among various colleges across India. Consent form obtained before filling questionnaire. The questionnaire distributed through social media applications staff respective colleges. Descriptive analysis performed calculate frequencies percentages categorical variables. total 723 students, 608 responses were received 30 mean age (SD) participants 22.95 (1.61) years. majority females (70.39). (90.78%) aware scales. More than half (58.55%) strongly agreed that there is a need for hands training ADRs at college level. Around 80% clinical pharmacist necessary healthcare team found satisfactory. Students believed having regular workshop may help improve their skills suspected medications caused helps better patient care.
